An exclusive women’s wing:

From the academic year 1969-1970 an exclusive women’s wing has been started only for girl students in Sanskrit [only 3 years (6 semester) B.A. General Course]. Classes for this women’s wing are separately held in morning secetion.

At present following Sanskrit Courses are offered by the department:

1. B.A. General in Sanskrit (6-Semesters, 3 Years).

Some of the notable features of the department are as follows:

1. Character-building, man-making ambiance.
2. UGC -recommended choice-based credit system.
